Meerkats work in cooporative groups, with the enitre family working together to reach common goals of survival and caring for offspring. Their ability to stand upright allows them to work as watch guards for the pack.
Meerkats follow an omnivore diet as they scavenge for beetles, catipilars, termites and other bugs along with some small snakes, birds and rodents. They rely on smell to find their prey.
Meerkats are hunted by Jakles, birds of prey and raptors.
